Bestselling Author, Natasha Wing, Celebrates The Night Before My Birthday Release with Blog Tour

FORT COLLINS, Colo. - Jan. 13, 2014 - PRLog -- Bestselling author Natasha Wing is celebrating the release of her new book, The Night Before My Birthday, with a blog tour January 13-17, 2014.  Blog tours allow authors/illustrators, students, educators and book lovers to connect “virtually” through interviews on websites, podcasts, blog sites and on-line radio shows.  Wing’s school-themed books – The Night Before Kindergarten, The Night Before Preschool and The Night Before First Grade – were recently on the Publishers Weekly bestsellers list.  These books along with others in her Night Before series are favorites of parents and educators.

“I had a lot a requests from kids to write a birthday book,” said Wing. “The challenge was to write it so that whomever was celebrating their birthday – whether it was a boy or girl – could see themselves in the book. And at the end there’s a special page where the birthday child can write the number of their new age on the cake.”

About The Night Before Series

Based on the popular story, The Night Before Christmas, Wing’s stories are about families celebrating holidays and milestones in kids’ lives such as the first day of school and losing a tooth. Her titles include The Night Before Easter, the original book in the series, which was published in 1999, and The Night Before Kindergarten, the highest-selling title which has regularly been on bestseller lists since its publication in 2001. The Night Before My Birthday is set for release on January 16, 2014.

Natasha Wing graduated from Arizona State University in 1982 with a B.S. in Advertising.  Wing lives in Fort Collins, Colorado, with her husband, Dan and their cat, Purrsia.
