LEXINGTON, Ky. - Jan. 11, 2014 - PRLog -- Native Kentuckian Obiora Embry published his first book Expanding Horizons Through Creative Expressions: Reflections and Thoughts Related to the Struggle for Peace, Sustainability, Equality, and the Search for Humanity in 2013. It is a compilation that covers topics like raising children, technology, peace, war, US, the genocide in Darfur, the police, thoughts and reflections about the city of Detroit, gardening, health and wellness,searching for the spiritual, money, education, and more. Obiora Embry is a self-proclaimed Eco-Conscious Thinker and life-long learner who loves to educate others, write, garden, cook, be creative constructively, volunteer, mentor, and do what he can to make the world a better place. He is a passionate person and his passion can be felt in his writing, whether he is telling a story, writing a poem, or expressing his thoughts and concerns on paper. Some of his writing has appeared in Ace Weekly, Peaceways, the Kentucky Kernel, Lexington Herald-Leader, North of Center, and The KeyNews Journal.
