PRLog - Jan. 7, 2014 - LAS VEGAS -- LAS VEGAS, NV. – January 7, 2014 – Heapsylon, the creator of the Sensoria Fitness bio-tracking line of smart clothing, has gone virtual through a new partnership with San Francisco-based Race Yourself.

Race Yourself is in the process of developing an application that transports runners and cyclists into a Google Glass virtual world where they can run against themselves; in e.g., a virtual marathon or even against a deadly band of zombies.

“Sensoria and Google Glass help us merge the virtual world with the actual world of the runner where they can feel like they are truly part of the action and get more out of their daily run,” Alexander Foster CEO of Race Yourself said. “We are leveraging the Sensoria Developer Kit to provide runners data on how far and how fast but also how well they run.”

The Sensoria Fitness line of bio-tracking clothing includes a sport bra, sock and t-shirt that allows athletes and fitness participants to track indicators such as heart rate, biometric data and distance ran. The data is sent to a smartphone where the wearer can track the information and get important information about performance via audio cues in real-time.

“What a cool use of technology to show off the functionality of our Sensoria Developer Kit and bio-tracking line of smart clothing,” said Heapsylon Co-Founder Davide Vigano. “Race Yourself aims at providing fun, motivation and incentives to people seeking the necessary discipline to live up to their new year’s resolutions Our innovative products were truly made to fuel this type of real-time, data driven, gamification experiences.”

More information about the Sensoria Fitness line of wearable fitness technology is available online at www.sensoriafitness.com and a video of the app and the Sensoria enabled consumer experience is available at www.raceyourself.com.
