Pardon the Pundit Relaunches Website, Print Paper & Live Comedy Shows

Political satire company gears up for 2014 midterm elections

WASHINGTON - Jan. 7, 2014 - PRLog -- Pardon the Pundit (PTP), a premier, political satire publication and touring company based in Washington, DC, has relaunched its website and added new writers to gear up for the 2014 midterm elections.  PTP will also restart its live shows starting with a comedy contest in February.

“We think no city in the country needs to laugh more than Washington, DC and we want to be a part of making that happen,”  said Matt Rock, PTP’s editor. “While the site has readers all over the country, our live shows and print publications focus on the capital region.  We plan to expand to New York later this year.”

The PTP comedy contest will feature local and national talent.  It will feature three rounds of competition and be held at venues around the city.  The finals will include a nationally known headline comic.  The details will be released in the upcoming paper and on the website next week.  The new site will add political trivia crossword puzzles in mid-January.
