With only 12 days remaining for the Christmas shopping rush, The Display Rack launched it’s service today in New York City. The shopping capital of the world attracts tourists from around the world, many with the sole purpose of shopping. The Display Rack is a shopper's companion website for finding products in a hurry at the best price at nearby stores. It's ideal for shoppers who don't have time to do the legwork to shop around, or wait for the two or three days it takes for shipments to arrive from online shopping sites. Customers can search and compare across a network of more than 250 US retailers, including Walmart, Best Buy, Home Depot and Costco to name a few. The service was previously available in Buffalo, NY and is accessible at http://thedisplayrack.com.
The Display Rack was founded by Fahad Siddiqui and Saif Saab. Based out of Waterloo and a part of the University of Waterloo’s Velocity Garage Incubator, The Display Rack aims to give local shopping the same transparency as online shopping.
