Communications Based Train Control conference welcomes SNCF and RSSB

LONDON - Dec. 11, 2013 - PRLog -- Dr Pierre Messulam, Director of Strategy Innovation and Research and Regulation for SNCF, joined
the panel of presenters and will be contributing a SNCF experience case study on the European Rail Traffic Management System. He is also joined by Said El Fassi, Technical Director, SNCF, who will be addressing system modeling and holistic simulation.

The SNCF is France's national state-owned railway company. The SNCF operates the country's national rail services, including the TGV, France's high-speed rail network.

Head of New Systems, RSSB, has also joined the conference and will be Chairing on behalf of RSSB. RSSB is a not-for-profit company owned and funded by major stakeholders in the railway industry, but is independent of any one party. RSSB’s involvement and experience in current issues will further contribute to this authoritative conference for leading Rail industry leaders.

About the conference
On March 12th 2014, industry leaders will come together to share insight, best practice and gain further understanding in critical infrastructure train control issues such as implementation, cost and maintenance, migration, conducting risk assessments and interoperability. On the 13th of March there will be a Cyber Security for Future Railway workshop addressing context, key topics, challenges and way forward. A must attend to understand the cyber security risks of embedding two way communications technologies.
