Ascendant Group Branding Senior Partner Kim Reed Receives ‘Women in the Corporate World’ Award

WILMINGTON, Del. - Dec. 10, 2013 - PRLog -- Ascendant Group Branding, an industry leading agency that helps CEO's, rising executives, authors and field experts become industry or nationally-regarded stars, today announced that Senior Partner Kimberly Reed was recognized at the recent Vivant Art Collection and Consulting event where she received a “Women in the Corporate World” Award, which honors influential women of color who excel in their respective roles as community leaders, tastemakers, and visionaries.

The Philadelphia-based event held November 15, 2013 also honored other high caliber female leaders of color from such organizations as PECO Energy, Wells Fargo, Sunco Inc., Citizens Bank, Clear Channel Media + Entertainment, Health Partners and the Pennsylvania Convention Center. The awards banquet was part of a four-day event that celebrated current and past female trailblazers as well as the art gallery’s success as a small, minority-owned business.

Reed, who is responsible for Ascendant Group Branding’s strategic direction and Human Resources function, is an excellent example of a woman of color who has excelled in her executive roles. Prior to her role with Ascendant Group Branding, Kim’s previous experience has included working as a HR, diversity, and inclusion strategist for over fifteen years for some of the world’s largest global organizations, including Merrill Lynch, PriceWaterhouseCoopers, and Deloitte. In these roles, Kim was able to develop innovative solutions that identified, attracted, retained and enhanced the skills of top, diverse talent. Her current focus is on training CEOs, executives, athletes and professionals on how to take their presentation skills from good to great.
