The new Face of Horror Comes from Penance Lane

Tyler Mane, the menacing terror from Rob Zombie’s Halloween films brings a new nightmare to the screen in 2014 with Penance Lane.

LOS ANGELES - Nov. 27, 2013 - PRLog -- Los Angeles, CA – 11-28-013 (JoeDolanPR): Gearing up for filming and production in March of 2014, “Penance Lane,” the new horror masterpiece from Tyler Mane will offer a unique perspective on the things that keep you awake at night. Rivaling the recent greats including Cabin in the Woods as well as the traditional favorites like Halloween; “Penance Lane” brings an all-star cast of film greats to literally scare you out of your seat.

Monster House Productions, the Burbank, CA Production Company, spearheaded by rock music legend James LoMenzo, has put together preview videos for fans in the horror genre, now available for viewing on YouTube. Viewers have witnessed a glimpse in to the vision of literal horror giant Tyler Mane, towering well over six and a half feet and known to movie goers as the papier-mâché masked blade-slinger in Rob Zombie’s Halloween films. Appearing in “Penance Lane” as a handyman fresh out of the joint, Mane’s character takes work at a run down home where he becomes witness to horrors that the locals might understand, but they aren’t talking about. The result is a new face of horror that guarantees a reception from viewers that will stand tall in their personal DVD collections.

The soundtrack for the film is being scored by rock guitarist George Lynch (Dokken, Lynch Mob) and songwriter and bass player James LoMenzo (Black Label Society, Megadeth). With years of cutting edge album releases that have defined the era of rock music that listeners cherish today, Lynch and LoMenzo are producing a soundtrack that will stand alongside the film, much the way their multi-platinum rock releases have in the past. Hard rock fans are chomping at the bit to hear what comes from the duo.

Aiding in the film productions funding, fans have taken to Indiegogo in an effort to support the film as well as to get an opportunity to own an exclusive piece of the film making, including props, autographed photos and in some instances – even a walk on role in the film. Donations, as well as information about the film can be found at http://www.indiegogo.com/projects/penance-lane.

As the film moves in to production, fans will be able to keep up with the film at www.penancelane.com, as well as following the film on Facebook and other traditional social media resources.
