Dads and Fathers of Texas Expands Nonprofit Offers Help with Child Support Forms

PLANO, Texas - Nov. 27, 2013 - PRLog -- Dads and Fathers of Texas is a new nonprofit created to help fathers engaged in child support and in need of meeting financial requirements.  Commonly, these parents can find themselves in a complicated and confusing situation.  Typically, the story is all too familiar:  A mother was shot and beaten in her home by a male; authorities believe it to be the father of her two children. Neighbors said the couple was in conflict over the father’s weekend visitation.  Situations like this don’t have to happen and that is the reason Dads and Fathers foundation was created.

Dads-Fathers of Texas assist in making child support simple and safe for all.  The group provides fathers, non-custodial parents and family courts, an alternative option that is a helpful resource for individuals facing child support issues, separation, divorce, and re-connection with their children.

The group’s programs have assisted many non-custodial parents, mostly fathers, with understanding their role as parents, stepping-up to their parental financial requirements, understanding their rights as a parent, and creating a better line of communication with the custodial parent. All of these contribute to reducing the stress that could result in acts of violence.

Available in October 2013, fathers (parents) will be able to purchase Dads-Fathers “Do-It-Yourself” Packages.  These packages are an easy ‘fill-in the blank’ approach and, they also explain what to do, where to go and how to present a father’s case. In addition, the group encourages the fathers and non-custodial parents to provide detailed information related to their case that will be helpful in bringing resolution. However, for those who may not fully understand or have difficulty reading, they also offer assistance in completing and filing the forms/documents.
