Winter Fun at Triunfo YMCA Winter Camp

AGOURA HILLS, Calif. - Nov. 26, 2013 - PRLog -- Westlake Village, Calif.--The Triunfo YMCA, serving Westlake Village, Oak Park and Agoura Hills, will host its annual holiday camp from December 23 through December 27 (closed December 25) and December 30 through January 3 (closed January 1). The camp coincides with winter school break.

         The camp will be held at the YMCA daycare facility at Willow Elementary School (29026 Laro Dr., Agoura Hills). Week one will include decorating ginger bread houses and ornaments, potato art, snowflake stamp art, scavenger hunt and a trip to Woodlake Bowl. Week two features a mini winter Olympics, science projects and a trip to Golf ‘N Stuff. "Every day has a specific theme with lots of hands-on activities," says Chrissy Withers, the Y's lead program director.

         The camp is for kids in kindergarten through eighth grade. Camp hours (including before and after daycare) are 6:30 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. The cost is $175 per week.
