BrightGirl Media Gives a Boost to Aspiring Women Entrepreneurs

MCKINNEY, Texas - Nov. 14, 2013 - PRLog -- Social media marketing and video production firm, BrightGirl Media is paying it forward by assisting an aspiring woman entrepreneur through a Facebook competition. The BrightGirl Brands Your Business contest begins on Facebook Thursday, October 31, 2013 and ends December 31, 2013. Entrants into the contest will compete by pitching their business idea for a chance to win a business startup package which includes: a logo, business cards, and website designed by TriviumOak, social media presence managed by BrightGirl Media (http://www.brightgirlmedia.com/), a financial plan from Ms. Finance Coach, Dominique Broadway, an eight-week “Turn Your Dream Idea into a Business Reality” course from Empower 2 Thrive, and a radio interview and advertisement on RoyalRadio Internet radio show.

The contest is open to women ages 21-40. Chanelle Yarber (http://www.about.me/cryarber), managing consultant for BrightGirl Media, was inspired to pay it forward to other women who aspire to be business owners while participating in the ELEVATE by Fairfield program. Yarber is one of twenty women in the U.S. who was a finalist in this competition for women entrepreneurs where she is competing for a $5,000 grant for her business.

“I am really passionate about seeing other women entrepreneurs succeed. I am a woman and a minority and I know how difficult it can be to position yourself in the right spaces to grow your brand. I was blessed with workspace and a chance at a grant to grow my business so I felt it was necessary for me to help another lady in her entrepreneurial journey,” explains Yarber.

Dominique Broadway and Sherrell Martin of Empower 2 Thrive are also finalists. Yarber frequently shares her passion for media and communications to help other entrepreneurs succeed.
