Nov. 13, 2013 - PRLog -- The Open House will run from 10am-12pm, and will give the public the opportunity to visit the new office of the Council. From 12-3pm, the Council will hold a Legislative Development session in the Conference Center of the 1st National Bank Building. The purpose of session is to brainstorm our agenda for the upcoming legislative bonding session. We need your review of the legislative recommendations we have developed over the past year and to bring your ideas for policy action that will improve Minnesota's quality of life for its Black community.

“The feedback we heard from our communities across the state during our 2012 Listening Tour and our 2013 Community Survey will provide the foundation for our discussion,” said Executive Director Edward McDonald. “Now, we’re refining the conversation, re-engaging stakeholders and looking to develop the framework for our legislative agenda.”
