API Limousine Conducts Fire Suppression Training in Sacramento Ca.

SACRAMENTO, Calif. - Oct. 21, 2013 - PRLog -- Local Limousine Company Sponsors Fire Suppression Training

As a result of recent safety activities concerning the limousine industry, API Limousine of Sacramento, CA. is sponsoring a Fire Suppression Training Program for all company chauffeurs and staff on Tuesday October 22, 2013. In coordination with the West Sacramento Fire Department, API will be conducting a live fire exercise in their company parking lot located at 1751 Enterprise Blvd in West Sacramento at 4pm. The purpose of the training is to increase awareness, enhance skill development, and improve readiness preparation to deal with emergency situations and improve client safety.

Governor Brown recently vetoed SB 338, which would have required limousines carrying 10 or fewer passengers to carry fire extinguishers and would have also required annual safety inspections by the CHP. API regrets the Governor's actions and the company is taking proactive measures to improve passenger safety by installing fire extinguishers in all limousines and teaching all staff members the proper use of the safety tools.
