Oct. 15, 2013 - PRLog -- Businesses looking to achieve cost savings and reduce their contractual risks at the same time are turning to a new company which has been formed to help others operate more efficiently.

As businesses continue to ride the economic storm, Bridge Procurement is offering companies of all sizes visible results – savings of at least 10% - on travel, technology, logistics, people, benefits and expenses without impacting their business or staff.

Bridge Procurement was founded by Phil Machin, a specialist in corporate procurement with over 15 years experience. Phil believes that with the right processes, expertise and contracts in place, businesses can save significant amounts of money while still being able to operate effectively.

Phil said: “Having spent most of my working life in corporate organisations, I realised that there was the opportunity to offer a far superior procurement service to businesses looking to save money.”

“The economy might be showing signs of recovery, but it’s still important for businesses to operate efficiently and reduce costs where they can – that just makes good business sense and that’s where we have been able to help.”

“We’ve already been working with some big brand names to help them deliver their own cost efficiency programmes, and to date we have managed to save businesses more than £100m through negotiation, cost avoidance, and the delivery of process efficiencies.”

Bridge Procurement will identify potential for cost savings based on a company’s current spend profile before negotiating new contracts with current suppliers or sourcing entirely new suppliers who can offer a better product or service for less cost.

Phil added: “What we offer is a tailored service to remove the hassle of procurement for companies. Most businesses simply don’t have the resource to spare to negotiate with suppliers and by using an external provider, they don’t need it. “Our early success has been very encouraging and we look forward to what the next few months will bring.”
