SHERMAN OAKS, Calif. - Oct. 7, 2013 - PRLog -- Producer-Mixer-Composer-Songwriter Anthony J. “Ajax” Resta has recently expanded his award-winning Studio Bopnique Musique to two new locations in Los Angeles, CA. Bopnique, which for years was based in Massachusetts, has taken a huge step in re-locating to the West Coast. Says Resta, “It got to the point where I was spending so much time on the West Coast for meetings with musicians and film studios that it just made sense to take the leap. It has been a very exciting time in the evolution of both the Studio and the type of musicians I am working with.”

Bopnique Musique’s music laboratory now includes a composing /mixing suite that was originally the mastering room at the legendary Paramount Recording Studios in Hollywood, as well as a composing tracking room in Studio City. Resta has moved the East Coast operation to Nashua, New Hampshire to accommodate the artists who find it easier to work with him there. In addition, Grammy nominated engineer Karyadi Sutedja has made the move with Resta, and is Bopnique’s principal mixing and tracking engineer.

Along with his producing and mixing work with artists such as Elton John, Duran Duran, Blondie, Collective Soul, Megadeth, Extreme, Shawn Mullins, Missing Persons, Guster, Letters to Cleo and Imani Coppola to name a few, Resta is also a successful composer. He has recently teamed up with renowned film composer Shawn K. Clement, recipient of ASCAPs prestigious Film and Television Award for Most Performed Underscore, to create Bopistry Music. Resta and Clements are in the process of compiling a reel and seeking representation for film music.

Ongoing projects for Resta include a full-length heavy metal soundtrack for the upcoming film “Infinite Santa 8000,” composing and performing as part of Mad the Martian, a Jetson-like cartoon band that records classic 70’s rock on gear built before 1979, working as one-fourth of the scoring collective Electrons, which includes musicians Warren Cuccurullo, Eric Alexandrakis and Steve Ferrone, and producing My Silent Bravery‘s fourth album.

Resta’s alter ego, “Ajax Ray O’Vaque,” has just signed with independent label Infinite Santa Records, and is working on an album of new material tentatively titled  “Dreaming in Subtitles.” While a release date is TBA, Ajax Ray O’Vaque will be making cuts available on his website and through social media.
