Join in our efforts to save the Butterflies and Hummingbirds from extinction

 At our Plymouth N.Y. Farm   We are attempting to save the Butterflies and Hummingbirds from extinction. As you may already know this is happening ..
We have dedicated over an acre as a nature preserve and are growing host plants for Butterfly eggs and nectar flowers for Hummingbirds. We are looking to add more land and greenhouses for continuing education on many species of flowers. As well as  helping with their habitat and migration.

   It has been 8 years that we set aside this land and have seen an increase in the Monarch Butterfly adding flower seed  to promote hosting plants such as the common milkweed plant. Which is the Monarch Butterflies main egg laying host plant. when the caterpillar emerges eats the milk weed  around August Monarch Butterflies and Hummingbirds  which also have had plentiful of nectar from are flower field are ready for migration to mexico and south america.Which is an amazing 3,000 mile journey. The migration fields are depleting with construction and timber being sought after.

So being that we are here in the united states adding flowers to attract Hummingbirds and Butterflies will increase the numbers as they will find other areas to migrate to .We can all play apart in this as i say (There is always room for flowers in your yard)

When i was young we knew it was spring when my mother said  the red poppies and shrubs where blooming. Knowing soon after  will come the Butterflies and Hummingbirds, to be nourished from there long journey and to start their new life cycle.

As i was cutting down fields on the farm where i was not planting my 7 year old said don't cut it down  look at all the pretty flowers and the Butterflies.

This all  has inspired me in helping The Butterflies and Hummingbirds
