New Ownership of Deer Creek Animal Hospital in Overland Park Kansas

OVERLAND PARK, Kan. - Sept. 26, 2013 - PRLog -- Deer Creek Animal Hospital is now under new ownership.  Dr. Russell Cain purchased the animal clinic from Dr. Mike Webb.  Dr. Cain said the philosophies of the clinic remain the same as well as the foundations upon which it was established.

Dr. Russell Cain is a native of Jackson, Mississippi. He completed his undergraduate studies at Florida International University in Miami in 2000 and received his doctorate of veterinary medicine from Kansas State University in 2011. Following graduation, he went on to work for a high-volume, no-kill animal shelter in Kansas City. There he was able to hone his surgical skills as well as well as provide as second chance for many homeless, less-fortunate animals. Dr. Cain then moved into private practice with a premier small animal hospital located in Kansas City, MO. This opportunity enabled him to focus on internal as well as preventative medicine. Additionally, Dr. Cain has provided emergency and critical care for several area emergency and referral centers in Kansas City.

Deer Creek Animal Hospital's stated goal is to become an integral part of the local community and help bring happiness and longevity to each one of its families through modern and integrated medicine.
