Asteron Life Distribution Appoints New Executive Manager for Operations and Strategy Implementation

SYDNEY - Sept. 4, 2013 - PRLog -- In a move set to fortify Asteron Life’s (http://www.asteronlife.com.au/) distribution arm’s operational alignment to its strategy, David Plant has been appointed Executive Manager of Operations and Strategy Implementation.

Reporting to Asteron Life’s (http://www.asteronlife.com.au/) Executive General Manager for Adviser Distribution Jordan Hawke, Mr Plant will be responsible for managing the operations and shared services function across Asteron Life’s Adviser Distribution business.

“David’s role is critical to ensuring we have greater focus and alignment across our business to drive the delivery of our strategy.

“David brings strong experience in strategic management and working closely with advisers on business solutions, and I am confident he will enable us to cohesively drive the execution of our strategy across our adviser distribution business.”

About David Plant

Mr Plant has 30 years experience in the financial services industry. He brings strong expertise in operations management, business solutions, customer and adviser service, administration, and sales and marketing in the advice distribution, life insurance and funds management sectors.

Most recently he was General Manager of Operations at Aon Hewitt Financial Advice, responsible for operations, governance, and strategy implementation in the Aon Hewitt Financial Advice AFSL, and maintaining strong relationships with key advisory businesses.

He holds a Bachelor of Business Studies.
