Man and Transit Van - A Fresh Approach

I first came across the concept of a "man and van" service about 6 years ago, as a potential customer.

A large table had been taking up space in my garage and I needed help to move it to a friend of mine who had a use and space for the furniture. "Man and Van" seemed a great idea; I would get the transport and somebody to help as well.

Well the guy that responded smelt almost as bad as his van, which was a wreck, a skip on wheels. He was surly, unhelpful and arrogant.

I already had a transit van and I decided there and then, that this business could be set up properly with a different can-do approach, where the customer would be treated with respect and not as an interruption.
