Tenix partners to deliver Taranaki’s largest cycling event

NORTH SYDNEY, Australia - Sept. 4, 2013 - PRLog -- Taranaki’s largest cycling event will move up a gear in 2014 following the announcement of a new partnership that sees Tenix become the new naming rights sponsor.

The ‘Tenix Taranaki Cycle Challenge’ is an iconic event in this part of the country, and offers a great opportunity for Tenix to get involved with a healthy, safe and highly-regarded event,” says Jacob Bonisch, Executive General Manager.

The 148km event offers a range of team, solo and elite classes, and departs from New Plymouth’s TSB Stadium on 25 January 2014.

“We are delighted to support this long standing event and will be encouraging over 500 Taranaki, national & international employees, as well as our clients to enter” says Jacob.

Events Taranaki spokesperson Selwyn Brown has welcomed the new partnership, stating that it will enable the event to move forward confidently into the next stage of its development.

“Having Tenix come on board will ensure an exciting future for this iconic Taranaki sporting event, which is poised to become one of New Zealand’s great events.”

“It also replaces the fantastic support we had from Yarrows The Bakers for many years, which was valuable in getting the event to its current status” said Selwyn.
