Excited about her first, lead role, Ashley said, "When I was given the script I immediately fell in love with it. Although it uses fraternities and Greek life as the backdrop, it's really a story about a young man, Kyle Cooper, who has to start taking responsibility for his actions and what he really wants to do regarding certain aspects of this journey." She went on to talk about her role saying, "Playing Nia Breaux, the female lead, was an exciting experience. Although she was the love interest and had some personal issues with Kyle, who was played by Mishon Ratliff, she was also a voice of reason for him. So to be able to be that character in the story that he could confide in was a great feeling."
Announcements were recently made that the film will also be screened at the Hollywood Black Film Festival (http://www.hbff.org/
