MyGuru Now Offers 1-1 Tutoring in Florida

CHICAGO - Aug. 29, 2013 - PRLog -- August 27, 2013 - MyGuru is excited to announce that Kirt Gallatin has joined the team as a Managing Tutor.   He has been charged with expanding MyGuru’s tutoring services into Florida.

Kirt, a Florida native, graduated Magna Cum Laude from Florida Gulf Coast University with dual majors in Criminal Justice and Legal Studies.  During his undergraduate career, Kirt was involved with several student organizations on campus and was elected Student Body President his senior year.  Passionate about higher education and adamant about keeping it affordable, Kirt spent his time as Student Body President lobbying the state and federal government for the betterment of Florida’s higher education system while keeping its tuition low.  After FGCU, Kirt continued his education and attended Northwestern University School of Law earning his Juris Doctor and subsequently passing the Illinois Bar exam.  Afterwards, Kirt practiced law at a boutique litigation firm in Chicago spending his time focusing on consumer class actions and arbitrations.  While working as an attorney, Kirt was recruited by a U.S. Presidential campaign to work in its operations group—an opportunity he could not deny.  During this time, Kirt planned and executed numerous political rallies, foreign dignitary meetings, fundraisers, and other events including presidential debates and the political party’s national convention.

In his new role at MyGuru, Kirt will be responsible for expanding MyGuru’s operations into Florida.  Florida, with its 4,289 schools and 223 postsecondary institutions, provides an ideal market for MyGuru’s services.
