Charles Cline joins ASW Global as National Director of CPG/Retail Services

Akron, Ohio – ASW Global welcomes Charles “Chuck” Cline as National Director of CPG/Retail Services.  Cline comes to ASW with more than 25 years of supply chain management and logistic experience.  Cline has served as President of several logistics companies and has held various management positions with Elston-Richards, Standard Corporation, Logisco, Ace Expeditors, and Store Opening Solutions.  Prior to joining ASW, Cline served as Vice President at New Breed Logistics.

In his role, Cline will focus on expanding ASW’s continued growth in the CPG/Retail sectors.  “Chuck brings a unique blend of strategic and technical knowledge to ASW.” stated André Thornton, CEO and President of ASW Global.  “His experience in providing solutions to the CPG/Retail industry is especially value as we grow our portfolio in this targeted sector.”

Cline a graduate of Marshall University in Huntington, West Virginia and is a member The Warehouse Educational and Research Council, Council of Supply Chain Management Professionals.  He has also been a board member with the International Warehouse and Logistics Association and currently serves on the Board of Directors of Sum Effect Software and Compassionate Counsel, a non-profit organization that provides free legal services to the homeless.
