TheatresCool Partners with Heroic Age Studios This Fall

BLOOMINGTON, Ill. - Aug. 20, 2013 - PRLog -- TheatresCool Artistic Director Kymberly Harris is thrilled to announce the hiring of Heroic Age Studios to teach on camera acting classes for kids, teens, and adults this fall at the Bloomington Center of the Performing Arts. Heroic Age Studios works on several feature films, shorts, and commercials throughout the year, and has cast several TheatresCool students in their projects.

 

Their expertise will provide aspiring and professional actors the cutting edge professional skills needed to truly learn the craft of acting as needed for today’s industry, whether students want to pursue acting or just learn the true craft of film and television acting.

 

On-Camera Acting with Eric Hector and Tim Lynn – Heroic Ages Studios

Tuesdays, beginning September 24th at the Bloomington Center for the Performing Arts

Kids 8-12: 5:00pm-6:30pm


Teens 13-17: 7:00pm-8:30pm


Adults 18+: 8:30pm-10:00pm

Each session is $275, which includes eight weeks of training and an end of session showcase performance. TheatresCool students are able to develop and perfect their craft while learning from the most knowledgeable working artists in the industry.

Kymberly Harris' TheatresCool has been an artistic home celebrating diversity, self-expression and professionalism in Central Illinois. With its recent expansion to Los Angeles, Harris is dedicated to continue to offer classes in Central Illinois that allow for artistic growth and opportunity. "The goal is to provide students with the tools and skills they need to succeed as actors, whether they plan to pursue it professionally or as a creative outlet," says Harris, "TheatresCool only offers professional training from working professionals to teach important aspects of the industry and further arts education."

 

TheatresCool Alumni have gone on to be accepted to major university acting programs, as well as professional acting jobs with agent representation. Professional Actor, Producer, Director and Producer Kymberly Harris is an MFA Actors Studio graduate, director and playwright.
