By: Krol Media The PAPA World Headquarters is open for four days for players, friends, families and spectators to enjoy the 30,000 square feet of space filled with over 450 pinball machines. Individual games can be played for 50cents each; varying tournament entry costs are still available. The next four days are filled with old-fashioned fun and competition with winners receiving a prize package of more than $45,000. The tournament begins at 11am on Thursday, 9:30am Friday, 8:30am Saturday and 9:30am Sunday for the finals. Each night, the festivities run until midnight. Players of all skill levels are welcome and encouraged to register. PAPA began in New York City under the direction of Steve Epstein who helped run six World Championships before retiring and passing the job along to Kevin Martin of Pittsburgh. In 2004, PAPA acquired and renovated their world headquarters in Carnegie. All pinball and arcade games housed at the facility were donated by Replay Foundation, who also operates all machines during the tournaments at PAPA World Headquarters.
