Sunera Chief Audit Officer Elected President of Starke Chapter of the AAPC, Country Coders

TAMPA, Fla. - Aug. 5, 2013 - PRLog -- Sunera’s Chief Auditing Officer, Donna O’Hern, CPC, CEMC, CPMA, CHCO, was recently elected president of newly formed Starke Chapter of the AAPC (American Academy of Professional Coders), Country Coders. Prior to her new title, O’Hern served as a Charter Member, Secretary for several years, President-elect and President of the North Central Florida Chapter of the American Academy of Professional Coders.

O’Hern has nearly thirty years of experience in the medical field in coding and auditing utilizing the 95/97 E/M documentation guidelines, payer specific directives, LCD, NCD, CPT, ICD-9, and HCPCs criteria. She oversees Sunera Healthcare’s auditing services, quality assurance, and provider office relations.
