BZ Mailing and Marketing Services Earns Small Business Partnership Award

Daytona Beach, FL – Enrichment Industries, a business enterprise with a social mission, and a division of SMA Behavioral Health Services, Inc., is pleased to announce that BZ Mailing and Marketing Services, one of their long-time business partners, has earned an AbilityOne® Program Community Award.

This award recognizes businesses that have partnered with an AbilityOne® affiliated nonprofit agency, in this case SMA Behavioral Health Services through Enrichment Industries, to maximize and showcase the employment of people with significant disabilities.

“BZ Mailing has been helping us find jobs for our clients with disabilities for over 15 years,” said the program’s project manager Tom Czopek. “They are a true community partner and we are so pleased that they are receiving this award,” Czopek added.

Established in 1974, SourceAmerica™ is one of two national, nonprofit agencies designated by the Federal Government’s United States AbilityOne® Commission to support nonprofit agencies participating in the AbilityOne® Program.

More than 600 participating nonprofit organizations employ these individual and provide quality goods and services to the Federal Government at a fair market price.

Just two other companies earned the awards, Northrop Grumman in Falls Church, CVA and NorthCoast Productions in Green Bay, WI.  Micky Gazaway, South Region Executive Director, SourceAmerica, stated that BZ Mailing and Enrichment Industries have established not only a successful business relationship but a friendship that has benefited both.   Friendship in business is not often thought of as a positive but I can see that strong relationship in the interaction and support of each other and that is definitely a positive.

Enrichment Industries has been providing light manufacturing and customized and general assembly services from locations in Daytona Beach and Palm Cost since the 1980’s. The workforce includes approximately 150 employees with disabilities. Enrichment Industries’ diverse workforce allows quick response to customers’ needs and helps control costs by eliminating the need to hire temporary staff when faced with a ramp-up of production.  Enrichment Industries manufactures their own line of products including crab traps, safety glasses and goggles, ear plugs, wall clocks, dust mops and jumper cables.
