Ferrum Phosphoricum Also Known As: Ferrum Phos,  Iron Phosphate, is a mineral that many of us are familiar with,  though admittedly we don’t always understand exactly what it does. Within the world of medicine,  phosphate was always recognized for its great healing properties.

Ferrum phos was discovered within homeopathy as a helpful healing agent and therefore became a homeopathic remedy. It was known to actually strengthen the walls of the blood vessels and restore natural blood flow. Prepared by combining iron sulfate,  sodium phosphate,  and sodium acetate. This powdered mineral compound is then triturated and what results is the homeopathic remedy of ferrum phos.
