Artist MG Stout Collaborates with War Veteran for D.C. Area Art Exhibit

After the Parade: An Art Exhibition Benefiting the Wounded Warrior Project

ALEXANDRIA, Va. - July 21, 2013 - PRLog -- Award winning artist MG Stout collaborates with combat veteran, Jason Conner, to shed some light on the inherent difficulties families and vets experience AFTER the jubilant homecoming. A soldier’s transition back into civilian life is a long, hard road that has been traveled for generations. This exhibit at Studio 4, Old Town opens the door for hope and healing, and features original paintings based on Conner’s photographs.

After the Parade is free and open to the public during Studio 4’s regular business hours (Wednesday to Saturday, 11am – 7pm; Sundays, 12pm – 5pm), runs from August 1 until September 9, 2013.

An opening reception, also free and open to the public, is planned for Saturday, August 10, from 6pm - 9pm at Studio 4. Directions: http://www.facebook.com/events/271429609649052

30% of all exhibition sales will be donated by the artist to the Wounded Warrior Project.
