Local San Clemente Dentist Reminds Patients of the Cost of Freedom

SAN CLEMENTE, Calif. - July 16, 2013 - PRLog -- “There have been many wonderful advances in technology that have given us conveniences today that people a couple hundred years ago would have never dreamed of,” Dr. Johnson says. “In the field of dentistry as with most other areas, we have the knowledge and equipment to keep people orally healthy far longer than at any other time in history.”

Drs. Johnson and Risbrudt want to remind everyone that the lifestyle we enjoy today did not come without a price.

“Here in Orange County, we have a large military community,” Dr. Johnson continues. “And these folks put their lives on the line without hesitation to make sure our nation continues to be free and prosperous. More than that, there have been hundreds of thousands of soldiers in previous generations that have gladly given their lives to protect our nation (and the world) from the advance of tyrants and dictators. We must never forget their brave sacrifices.”

As we reach the mid-summer point in July, the doctors also want to remind folks in Orange County to keep up on their oral health.

“Freedom is a wonderful thing, but we should not use it to neglect the things we should be paying attention to – like the health of our teeth. In the midst of summer vacations and days at the beach, it’s easy to forget about your regular dental checkups. And it’s my job to remind folks that with the kids out of school, summer can actually be a more convenient time to bring the family in to the dentist. Because once fall comes around, the work and school schedules start to fill up, and it often becomes more difficult to carve out time for those regular checkups.”
