Venus Butterfly was formed when Pop solo artist and lead singer Pimluck joined with model and TV personality Katy, who plays the bass, to form the band. Pimluck's sister, Nijji, joined on the keyboards and their friend Sugar holds down the drums. Sarida, the newest member, is the guitarist. The band was signed to Thai recording label Spicy Disc and released their first album, sung in Thai, in 2010. They have toured Southeast Asia and became the first Thai rock band to perform at “Bay Beat” (Singapore’s international music festival).

The band performed in the US in 2011. They are currently in the US working on their new American album, to be released by RWE later this year.

RWE is an American label headed by music industry professionals who are interested in helping new Rock bands. RWE has produced concerts across the world and is currently working with a number of new and talented artists on their debut records.
