Author, Catherine Crumber returns to Hampton Roads, Virginia

NORFOLK, Va. - July 1, 2013 - PRLog -- Hampton Roads, Virginia,  July 1, 2013: The bleeding heart on the cover is different from other contemporary fiction book-covers and so is the message in “The Love of You, a Novel”. The plot takes place  in Hampton Roads, Virginia and makes references to the present local spots in Norfolk and Virginia Beach, VA. It is no wonder Catherine’s East Coast Book Tour is gaining traction.  A great plot taking place in a great area equals a great story.
Catherine’s East Coast Book Tour began May in Baltimore, MD. Stops included Agape Christian Bookstore, The Way Christians Supplies as well as the  Greetings & Readings where she nearly sold out. She also had an intimate interview and discussion with the Phenomenal Women’s Book-club in Chester, Virginia. Catherine’s next stop is the Heaven & Earth book stores in Hampton and Norfolk, Virginia Saturday,  July 13, 2013.  She is particularly excited to return to an area that facilities such wonderful memories for her despite  the obstacles she faced as a child.  “ I can’t wait to taste a Hampton Roads’ fried crab once again. There is nothing like it anywhere.”, says Catherine while reminiscing.  She is also scheduled for book signing appearances at the Harlem Book Fair in Harlem, New York as well as Sankofa Bookstore  in DC.  Finally, Catherine will make her way to Atlanta, Georgia to Nubian Bookstore.
One reader commented she receive the book as a birthday present. She said she found the characters to be identifiable and the situations to be believable. Overall, the book in her opinion is refreshing and she couldn’t put it down. Another reader commented the book reads like a movie and hopes it makes it to the silver screen one day.  Catherine echoes the desire to see The Love of You become a movie. Her desire is to shoot this film in Hampton Roads, Virginia making sure to give at least seventy percent of the job opportunities to residents of the area as long as she can find qualified candidates. One thing is for sure; she is determined to bring Hollywood to Hampton Roads!
