19Pencils Honored In 2013 Best Websites for Teaching & Learning List by AASL

The American Association of School Librarians(AASL) announced its 2013 Best Websites for Teaching & Learning at the America Library Association (ALA) Annual Conference in Chicago, Illinois and 19Pencils is honored to have been recognized.
 
ROSEVILLE, Calif. - June 29, 2013 - PRLog -- The Best Websites for Teaching and Learning list is based on feedback and nominations from members. School librarians can nominate their most used websites to be considered for the honor. The list provides a foundation to support AASL's learning standards. Each website is linked to one or more of the four strands for “Standards for the 21st Century Learner and include free web-based sites that are user-friendly and encourage a community of learners.

Best of the Best

The annual list recognizes 25 web sites that provide enhanced learning and curriculum development. Now in it's fifth year, the list is considered "the best of the best" by AASL. Amongst websites recognized by the AASL that best foster innovation, creativity, active participation and collaboration. 19Pencils has received this honor in the category of “Content Resources”.
