Are you a company that buys Carbon Credits for Offsetting?

June 12, 2013 - PRLog -- Newly launched 'OTC Registry', wishes to open contact with businesses that purchase carbon credit VERS for offsetting purposes to consider participating in an OTC matched bargain marketplace. One that could potentially benefit many thousands of scam victims.

Why now? The premise is that a percentage of business could be driven toward private investor holdings, many of whom have seen their savings potentially decimated by unscrupulous unregulated sales brokers in the UK and overseas. These firms have plundered fortunes, selling overpriced, relatively worthless carbon credits.

The project is likely to face considerable cynicism from those who see this as a pie in the sky venture - but with sufficient critical mass and the participation of a clutch of senior market players, The OTC Registry hopes that there is some way to salvage even a nominal percentage of investor holdings.

With the market being unregulated, there is no recourse for compensation and it is no secret that the collapse of the private investor sales brokerages has coincided with the decline in value of VERs. Perhaps the acceptance that private investor sales have been the VER marketplace's dirty secret; may offer hope that 'The OTC Registry'  and it's seed venture 'The OTC Dealbook' could yet sprout.
