Follow on Google News | A Jewelry Line Launch Accentuating Beauty Through Mystery, Luxury & Elegance - Raje, by Randy LunaRandy Luna of Raje Entertainment launches a jewelry line that accentuates beauty through mystery, luxury and elegance. This event is open to all fashion industry professionals and fashion media and press.
By: Event Details The venue for this launch event is in the heart of LES, at the Thompson hotel, a unique boutique Lower East Side hotel, created in collaboration with some of the flashiest names in contemporary art and design. It makes sense that Randy would hold his event here, not only for the uniqueness of its design, but because Randy grew up in this very same neighborhood. Randy Luna is a creative director, designer, teaching artist, and entrepreneur. Born and raised on New York City’s Lower East Side, Randy has had many opportunities to showcase his talents. As an actor, he has performed in venues including New York’s famed Henry Street Settlement and The Producer’s Club. His theatrical credits include productions of The Wiz and an urban version of the classic ballet, The Nutcracker. As a model, Randy has appeared in national print ad campaigns with award winning choreographer Laurie Ann Gibson. Working alongside Laurie Ann Gibson as Dance Captain, he assisted her in the production of UBT’s battle scene “The Nutcracker in the Lower”. As a dancer, Randy has been trained in modern, contemporary, jazz, mambo/salsa and hip hop. In the world of mambo/salsa he trained with Yvonne B. Gutierrez rehearsal director/choreographer of New York's Copacabana Dancers. Always wanting to give back to his community, Randy made the decision to share his talents and training, and branched into the world of teaching. Known for his attention to detail and ability to connect with youth, Randy has become one of New York’s most sought after teaching artists. Working with a multitude of arts education organizations and public schools, Randy has taught dance and theater to over two thousand inner city youth. Gaining attention for his refined yet visceral style of dance and staging, Randy has been tapped to work with up and coming artists Emily Vasquez (season 1 The Glee Project), Valentino, Adair, Trent Crews, Charisse Mills and more. He has also trained Keisha Hughes who was a top-ten contestant on Laurie Ann Gibson’s Born to Dance. With all these different facets not being enough for this young go getter, Randy decided to establish his own business. Wanting to fuse his passion for the performing arts with his love of fashion, Randy founded Raje Entertainment, a company devoted to fashion and dance (Fashion in Motion). When asked to describe the Raje clothing and jewelry line, Randy's response was, "Raje accentuates beauty. The pieces are filled with mystery, luxury, and elegance. For me, Raje is more than dance and fashionable accessories. Raje is a way of life." Raje has been in Dance Moms, Vocab Magazine, and Signature Hits Magazine. Raje has been worn by Reality Tv stars Emily Vasquez, Brooke Hyland and Designer Angel Brinks. Randy has been working with Christina Berrios of Event Details, Inc. to select the perfect venue and coordinate all of the details for this launch event. There is a strict RSVP list and anyone in the fashion, media and press industry will need to get in touch with the event planner for this event to get on the list for the select event preview times.
