His first race was just 10 days after his 14th birthday, (the legal age to race a car), at Silverstone the home of British Motorsport.  The car prepped and ready to go he held his nerve to attain a podium finish on his first race.

James finds Motorsport exhilarating and challenging. He appreciates the technicalities; the mechanics and dynamics of the car, and enjoys working through problems to find solutions and achieve the highest potential of the vehicle. He has a record of success since the age of 9, and says that for him the best enjoyment of all is in his driving.
