Richmond Training Concepts publishes Infographic to educate public about Sudden Cardiac Arrest

RICHMOND, Va. - May 23, 2013 - PRLog -- Richmond Training Concepts, a local leader in emergency care and response training for communities and individuals, has published an infographic on Sudden Cardiac Arrest (SCA) and the only way to save a victim’s life — prompt CPR and use of an automated external defibrillator (AED).    In celebration of National CPR and AED Awareness Week (June 1-7, 2013), the infographic was created by Health & Safety Institute (HSI) and illustrates the difference between SCA and a heart attack (SCA is always fatal without prompt intervention). It also explains that an SCA victim can only survive without CPR and defibrillation for about ten minutes.
