North Branford DPW Hires Munger Construction To Renovate Maintenance Building

BRANFORD, Conn. - May 20, 2013 - PRLog -- Branford, CT; The Town of North Branford Department of Public Works has selected Pat Munger Construction Company, Inc. to renovate its 30 year old 6,000 sq. ft. maintenance facility.

"Along with our staff's inability to work on equipment in the off-season due to cold, damp conditions, the building was leaking and wouldn't hold heat, so we had to be selective in what we stored there", said Fran Merola, DPW Director.  "We selected Munger, with whom we've had a history of successful projects, to deliver a renovated maintenance facility that can be used for protected, dry storage."

The building makeover includes the addition of perimeter masonry curb walls, Varco-Pruden's sub-purlin system, Panel Rib Galvalume Roof, and replacement of existing siding and trims.

"This Capital Region Council Region of Governments [CRCOG] contract is another in a series of projects that Munger has performed for its municipal and BOE customers", said David DeMaio, Munger president. "We applied the ezIQC® job Order contracting system, a competitively bid procurement process that is based on locally priced construction tasks and competitively awarded contracts."
