Gown Boutique LA CASA HERMOSA of Wellington Gifts Local High Schools $1500 for PROM'S NIGHT OUT 2013

WELLINGTON, Fla. - May 14, 2013 - PRLog -- WELLINGTON, Fla. -- From February 1 through April 15, South Florida-area high school students registered their school for the chance to win up to $1,500 to support their high school prom during a drawing held at Florida gown boutique LA CASA HERMOSA of Wellington.

The grand-prize winning high school was randomly drawn at LA CASA HERMOSA of Wellington on April 15, 2013. Palm Beach Central High School submitted the most eligible entries during the contest, winning the $500 prize towards their school’s Senior Prom. South Florida student Samantha Pose of Cardinal Newman High School in West Palm Beach was drawn at random as the grand prize winner, awarding her school the $1,000 check. Cardinal Newman High School Principal Mrs. Christine M. Higgins and Dean of Students Mrs. Katie Gomez Kervi accepted the grand prize check on behalf of the school with Samantha Pose present on May 13, 2013. Palm Beach Central High School received their $500 winnings during a presentation with Prom Coordinator Ms. Ailyn Barrios and Principal Mr. Butch Monday on May 6, 2013.

“We’re so excited about all the entries we received.  It was wonderful to see so many new faces at LA CASA HERMOSA of Wellington viewing the latest designs and shopping for their gowns,” stated Robin Fleming, gown designer and LA CASA HERMOSA founder.

LA CASA HERMOSA of Wellington began accepting entries at the PROM’S NIGHT OUT 2013 Kickoff Party held on February 1, 2013. The event featured many of the newest collections from a variety of popular prom designers and appearances from VIP guests.
