PRLog - May 12, 2013 - CHELTENHAM, Pa. -- 1 Call Bath Solutions announced today, May  12, 2013, that the company is now accepting installation of walk in bathtubs via HISA Grants. The company has a CCR Registration so they can accommodate a veteran's choice of 1 Call Bath Solutions as their walk in bathtub contractor for their Home Improvement and Structural Alterations (H.I.S.A.) Grant. According to the Department Veterans Affairs, contractors need to register to CCR database before any grant or contract is authorized. 1 Call Bath Solutions enrolled in the Central Contractor Registration and was accepted. David Goodman, the Sales manager of 1 Call Bath Solutions , states that “Mr. H’s walk in tub installation is unique. The VA is very strict in their procedures. However, our company can easily handle the VA’s strict guidelines since we operate above the government’s minimum requirement. Our sales staff worked diligently with Mr. H and the VA representative from the start .”

David Goodman outlined the procedure of 1 Call Bath Solution's installation of walk in bathtubs through HISA Grant . “First, the Veteran applied for HISA Grant. He obtained a prescription from a r VA physician with specific indication of the need for a walk in bathtub together with the medical justification of its use. 1 Call Bath also provided the VA pictures of Mr. H's bathroom before the walk in tub installation started. He also obtained a detailed quotation from 1 Call Bath Solutions showing an itemized quotation of the estimated materials, costs and labor cost and the building construction required for the project. Second, Mr. H. received a letter from the VA in Philadelphia giving authorization for the HISA Grant project to begin. Now, 1 Call Bath Solutions will install the new walk in bathtub according to Mr. H's specifications. Upon completion, 1 Call Bath will obtain a letter from Mr. H showing his satisfaction of the work done. Lastly, the company will submit all the required forms from the VA and received payment of $6,800.”
