Cynthia Renee to perform at El Dorado County 4H Round Up Saturday

May 9, 2013 - PRLog -- PLACERVILLE, CA – Singer Songwriter Cynthia Renee will return to El Dorado County this weekend for a special event benefiting local 4-H at the El Dorado County Fairgrounds.  Renee will be performing in a free concert at the annual El Dorado County 4-H Chili Cook Off and Round Up this Saturday.  
Renee has been performing at a number of different local venues. Much of last season local racing fans enjoyed her performing the National Anthem at the Placerville Speedway. More recently Renee has been performing at Ponte Palmero Retirement Community and is now appearing on a regular basis at Sienna Restaurant in El Dorado Hills.

         Renee is the writer of the original song "Where are You Now" that is currenty on sale in Apple itunes and Amazon. In addition to her musical talent, she has been performing professional voiceovers for Foothill 7 Television in El Dorado County.

         This Saturday, Renee will perform at the 4-H Round Up with the accompaniment of guitarist Chris Kawelo. The duo will be performing their mix of new country, pop and many favorites of the past decades near the main lawn of the El Dorado County Fairgrounds beginning at 11:45 a.m.  

         The public is invited to join the El Dorado County 4-H Chili Cook-Off & Round Up on Saturday from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. The event will be held on the lawn of the El Dorado County Fairgrounds in Placerville. Admission is free and open to the public, so bring your family, friends and neighbors. There will be something for everyone.

         In addition to Cynthia Renee, local folk musician Greg Costa will also be performing. There will also be  4-H Barn Activities, kids activities and a craft vendors fair. 4-H animals will be showing in the barns. Demonstrations from Rocketry, Disc Golf & Dog Agility projects will be held on the lawn.

         Bridges BBQ will have tri-tip lunches for sale for $8. 4-H will have its dignitary cake auction on the lawn at 1:30 p.m. presented by Jack Sweeney and will have a silent auction featuring amazing items including four tickets to Disneyland and golf clubs valued at $800.

         Interested in joining the chili challenge? Space is still available. Chili will be judged by professional judges and $50 prizes will be awarded to overall winners as well as recognition for first, second and third place entries.
