Smiles for Survivors Announces Rob Jensen Company as Platinum Partner for Blow Out Breast Cancer

LAS VEGAS - May 1, 2013 - PRLog -- Smiles for Survivors Foundation (http://www.smilesforsurvivors.org/)™ (SFS), a Las Vegas–based non-profit organization, announces that the Rob Jensen Company (http://www.thejensongroup.com/meet-the-jenson-group/), a local luxury real estate agency, is a platinum partner of the 3rd Annual Blow Out Breast Cancer event. The event is slated for Saturday, October 5, 2013.

Square Salon and Spa in Summerlin (1225 S. Fort Apache Rd.) hosts the event, which supports the non-profit’s mission to raise awareness of the potential oral side effects of cancer treatment. The event also raises funds to provide dental treatment for breast cancer patients and survivors through a network of local dentists.

“My father is a dentist, so I have an understanding of how devastating it can be for a cancer patient’s oral health issues to go untreated,” said Rob Jensen, CEO and founder of Rob Jensen Company. “As the first organization in the United States to address this issue, Smiles is visionary. My hope is that our partnership will help to raise awareness of this important and often unrecognized health problem.”    

SFS focuses its efforts on expanding its network of local dentists so that it can provide assistance to more breast cancer patients and survivors. In addition, the non-profit is gearing up to launch an aggressive awareness campaign regarding cancer treatment’s impact on oral health.
