Under the settlement, mVisum will continue to sell products without risk of suit from AirStrip so long as it is not practicing any of the aspects of AirStrip's patented invention. AirStrip has withdrawn its legal action filed in federal court in October 2012.
mVisum will not offer products that would practice aspects of AirStrip’s patent 8,255,238, including streaming or displaying real time or near real-time patient physiological data, and products that compress, cache, or buffer patient physiological data on a smartphone or tablet.
