MTM LinguaSoft Translates Major Philadelphia Visitor Website

April 23, 2013 - PRLog -- Last week the Philadelphia Convention & Visitors Bureau (PHLCVB) announced the official launch of its new convention and international visitor website, http://www.discoverPHL.com. Philadelphia language services company MTM LinguaSoft handled the website translation for the versions of the site that are available in French, German, Spanish, and Portuguese. Several other foreign-language microsites, legacies of the old website, are also linked to the new site and the PHLCVB has plans to gradually convert all of them to the new format.

The website was developed using the open source content management system (CMS) Umbraco, and MTM LinguaSoft worked closely with the staff at PHLCVB and digital agency MMGY Global, the site developer, to establish the most efficient translation process.

The new website includes a number of features that make it much more useful for the prospective visitor. The new website and supporting tools are “intended to position the City as a global destination for meetings and conventions, international visitors, group travel or prospective students seeking world-class educational institutions.”
