Southeastern IT Firm EDTS Adds Ard, Mailey to Expanding Team

GREENVILLE, S.C. - April 23, 2013 - PRLog -- EDTS, a full-service technology consulting firm specializing in network security and managed IT services for Southeastern business, has added Katie Ard and Andrew Mailey to its rapidly growing team.

A native of Columbia, South Carolina, Mrs. Ard has over 30 years of business-to-business sales, management and marketing experience in a variety of industries including media, publishing and telecommunications.  Most recently, she served as sales executive with Morris Communications’ Main Street Digital business unit.  Prior experience included professional sales or management roles with Hearst Media Group, Beasley Broadcasting and Bell Atlantic.

In her role as account executive with EDTS, Mrs. Ard will work in outside sales and client development activities for EDTS across the organization's growing Southeastern footprint, and will be based in EDTS’s Augusta, GA headquarters.  A graduate of the University of South Carolina with a B.A. in Psychology and History, she is active in the Aiken and North Augusta chambers of commerce.  Married with one daughter, she resides in Clarks Hill.  

Mr. Mailey joins EDTS as a support engineer from UTC Aerospace Systems, formerly Goodrich, Inc.  At the Fortune 500 company serving aftermarket and OEM manufacturers in the aerospace industry, Mr. Mailey supported network and security initiatives for multiple business units across the United States.  At EDTS, his role will include providing network and system administration support to EDTS clients across the Southeast from the firm’s network operations center.

A native and current resident of Evans, Georgia, Mr. Mailey is CompTIA Network+ certified and experienced with virtual desktop infrastructure implementation and support.  He holds a B.B.A. in Information Systems from Georgia Southern University.
