April 17, 2013 - PRLog -- The race sets off through the streets of Naples at Piazza Vittoria, taking in the Chiaia, Mergellina and Posillipo quarters of the city before reaching the spectacular finish line at the Lungomare Caracciolo on the seafront.  Team presentations take place the previous day in the historic Piazza del Plebiscito in the centre of Naples.

ExpertoItaly is offering short-breaks to Naples during the first week of May at the historic Hotel Decumani de Charme, built during the 17th century and the residence of the last Archbishop of Naples during the Bourbon kingdom.  The hotel is in the heart of the city’s old centre, a stone’s throw from some of its most impressive churches, museums and monuments.

Tailor-made two and three-centre holidays are available, combining Naples with Ischia and Sorrento for avid followers of the race who are keen to watch stages two and three of the race.

A three-night B&B stay at the Decumani di Charme in Naples starts at £325 per person (based on two sharing), including a 3-day Campania Arte card and a guided tour of the city, with http://www.ExpertoItaly.com, tel. 020 7520 3100.
