HOUSTON - April 17, 2013 - PRLog -- The Virtual Arts & Science Academy, also known as VASA is a premiere private online school with the focus of educating students from grade levels 6 - 12. The idea behind VASA is that we want to employ our pupils to excel at their own pace. There isn't a set time one must apply to the academy and our curriculum and scheduling will be specially designed for each individual student.

Our school is virtual and we use a variety of technological tools to tutor our students. Tools like Chat rooms, forums, and instant messaging are a few of the features provided to each student. Another benefit to being online is, wherever you are in the world, as long as you have a steady internet connection, you can complete your classes with little to no interruption. We are removing you from the traditional classroom setting without compromising the level of education required.

All of our teachers, staff and counselors are trained in their respective disciplines and work with the goal of seeing that each students achieves their own goals. Our philosophy as a school is to provide the serious student an alternative form of education and the maximum opportunity to learn and grow as well as to create an environment where any student may be enriched as a result of their exposure to the arts.

Founded by Markos and Erin Hernandez, two educated veterans with over 30 years of experience combined in teaching and tutoring Mathematics, Science, and Arts, they lead a high quality staff and a flexible environement that promotes academic success.
