|  Who I AM: The Autobio of Montice Harmon (Interview with Keshia Jones) Pt.1There's new music coming soon from non other than Montice Harmon himself. The poetic author has produced hits such as, Time in a Bottle, and the subtitle track, Who I Am. The project will release as a full set LP this May 14, 2013.

Keshia Jones: "What's up Montice?" Montice Harmon: "Working hard." Keshia Jones: "So, Mr. Harmon tell me a little about what you been up too." Montice Harmon: "Working on the new album and also a new project from BossWriterPublishing that will release this summer." Keshia Jones: "Tell me more about this project?" Montice Harmon: "Well, this March i signed a new author to my publishing company. Her name is Shirley Honeycutt and she's the author of Mama's Kitchen. Keshia Jones: "Wow, sounds very interesting. What made poetry your number one focus and first choice in the year of 2013?" Montice Harmon: "Well, i'm a poet myself. And one thing a poet understands is good spoken word. Plus, the fact i'm working on my album puts me in that section right now in my life. I'm enjoying the success." Keshia Jones: "Great. What can fans get from this album?" Montice Harmon: "More of Who I Am as an artist. More and more of life through spoken word. I wan't my fans to enjoy something new and life changing." Keshia Jones: "How many tracks are you releasing on Who I Am?" Montice Harmon: "Thirteen." Keshia Jones: "Wow, you have been working hard i see, and the album is compete?" Montice Harmon: "Yes, all thirteen tracks are recorded and ready for May 14, 2013." Keshia Jones: "Okay, I know you were releasing other projects this year. The kings & Queens?" Montice Harmon: "Yes, The King & Queens is set for release this summer." Keshia Jones: "Any dates set?" Montice Harmon: "K&Q was to release June 4, but had to be pushed back because of my new authors release, and the release of my May project. BossWriter Magazine i have not set a date for." Keshia Jones: "Cool, sounds exciting. I can't wait for B.W.M to release this year. What are you looking to do this go round with the next issue?" Montice Harmon: "A lot more then i did before. I want to step up a notch with more topics." Keshia Jones: "Not that the latest release wasn't filled with life of art. I really enjoyed working with you and your effort to complete BossWriter Magazine. Are any other artist featured on the project?" Montice Harmon: "As of right now, no. But i plan to do a track with a couple of artists, I'm thinking remixing some of the tracks with featured artist." Keshia Jones: "I think you should do a track with Jhen'e Aiko." Montice Harmon: "That would be nice, but i didn't really want any features on this album. I wanted to deliver my music from me as of Who I Am." Keshia Jones: "Understandable. So what's your next step in music?" Montice Harmon: "My next step will be continuing music. I'm planning on getting back in the studio and recording a mix tape." Keshia Jones: "Now on this mix tape will you be doing any poetry?" Montice Harmon: "Yes, but a lot of rapping and singing." Keshia Jones: "Sounds interesting. I can't wait to hear the new album and thank you so much for allowing me to interview you. Such an honor BossWriter." Montice Harmon: "No problem Keshia." Keshia Jones: "I want to say congrats on all your success. And to say you are a power tool for our generation. What you are doing is amazing and to say your young, wise and fulfilling your dreams. It must be nice to say you run your own business." Montice Harmon: "Thank you a lot. I appreciate that. My business is me. I'll tell anyone BossWriterPublishing is Montice Harmon." Keshia Jones: "I feel you. What combines the two?" Montice Harmon: "I didn't start out as a publisher. First i was the writer, published my books and became a house whole name. Then i took a couple of steps back to help others fulfill the dream of being published." Keshia Jones: "Right, and above all things you have done just that. Your books are popular bestsellers and your poetry has encouraged and changed lives. I know i read one of your reviews for Expressions of Poetry and a young lady mention your story saved her from commiting sucide. How does that make you feel?" Montice Harmon: "Wow, that was touching to read. And the fact she is the mother of three. It upsetted me at first like why would you do such a thing. But realized you never know what a person's going through. I thanked god my message was able not only to change lives, but save them also." Keshia Jones: "Now that's magic and I'm so proud of you and your success. What's next for Montice Harmon or may i say "BossWriter" Montice Harmon: "More books, music, poetry and lots of inspirational quotes. I plan on futhering my acting career, along with a lot of things." Keshia Jones: "I know we're here to talk about your music. But i'm thrilled at your creativity to write stories and have the ability to not only write one type, but childrens books, poetry, music and scripts?" Montice Harmon: "Well i am BossWriter." Keshia Jones: 'Laughs.. you are right. Last time i checked out your activist rader you visited an Elementary and High School. Tell me a little about that?" Montice Harmon: "Sure, i was granted the opportunity to come to Astoria Elementary school to read my story." Keshia Jones: "Which?" Montice Harmon: "The adventures of Angus the Mouse, and it was a wonderful experience i will never forget." Keshia Jones: "I seen the footage. Those kids really respected and pay close attention to you. Have you been back since?" Montice Harmon: "Yes, i been back since the performace to help the students with the FACT test. I also attented a Black History event they had and the students i had been helping were performing on stage. It was wonder, all of them did such a wonderful job." Keshia Jones: "I am looking forward to meeting back up with you once the album releases. You have a new single coming out tomorrow on #GooglePlay right?" Montice Harmon: "Yes, it's titled Don't Go Away. It will release as the third single in a deluxe edition containing two bonus tracks." Keshia Jones: "I'm ready to get my copy. Thanks once again Montice for allowing me to meet up with you. I've been getting a lot of buzz about you as an andie publisher and artist. Keep up the good work and stay blessed."
