MAD for Mad Men: Season 6 Viewing Party in Los Angeles

LOS ANGELES - March 25, 2013 - PRLog -- On Sunday, April 7th, millions of Mad Men fans across the United States will tune into the 2 hour Season 6 premiere on AMC.

Some fans, however, may prefer to utilize the premiere as an opportunity to meet other like-minded individuals and "party like it's 1965".

Friends and fans of the show, Penny Lane Emerson and Kevin Caranna are co-hosting a Mad Men viewing party at Dear John's, a restaurant and bar that has remained virtually unchanged since it opened its doors in 1962.

"We don't work for AMC and we haven't contacted them about our viewing party. This is just a fun, non-profit event for other fans that also love the show!" says Penny Lane.

The public, those who are 21 years of age and over, are invited to attend for food, Mad Men-esque drink specials and of course, the 2 hour premiere which will be broadcasted from 9-11pm on the bars 2 flat screen televisions.

Attendees are encouraged to arrive close to 8pm to mingle and order their food or drinks.

Those who really want to "party like it's 1965" are encouraged to follow the lead of the 2 co-hosts and dress in Mad Men era costume.
