Bicycle Brüstop Coming Soon to Novato’s Grant Avenue

NOVATO, Calif. - March 21, 2013 - PRLog -- We are proud to introduce you to Bicycle Brüstop, a new bicycle retail establishment coming to the heart of downtown Novato.  Bicycle Brüstop (pronounced Brew-Stop) will strive to be more than just a traditional bike shop, but also a central gathering place for cyclists of all stripes; it will be a place to relax while you chat with other riders about your latest two-wheeled adventures, or take in the latest freeride video or Grand Tour stage while enjoying a variety of refreshments in our Refueling Zone.  It is common among cyclists to cap off a ride with friends by enjoying a snack and a cup of coffee, soda, tea, chocolate milk, beer… whatever they are craving.  We are pursuing relationships with local suppliers and applying for all of the applicable licenses to enable us to extend the same level of hospitality to our guests at the shop as we would at home.

Bicycle Brüstop is being co-founded by Aaron and Carolyn Thompson.  We are both Bay Area natives who fell in love with Novato while visiting during an AMA Superbike race weekend.  During our visit, we took a memorable bike ride from our hotel out to Point Reyes, and over breakfast at Marvin’s asked each other “why don’t we live here?”  That rhetorical question evolved in to a goal, and we have been working on the transition ever since.  We currently reside in the Bahia neighborhood of northeast Novato and take advantage of the easy access to both mountain and road cycling that Novato provides as often as we can.  What a great place to live and ride!
